"When choosing our class gift, the seniors wanted to be sure to choose something meaningful. There were many great ideas, but at the end of the day, we wanted to take time to acknowledge a teacher who means so much to us. Our senior English teacher, Mr. Sanderson, exemplifies what it means to be a Dansville Mustang. This year, he has shown us all how to stay positive through the toughest of times - a skill he undoubtedly learned from his mother, Micki, who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. To celebrate Mrs. Sanderson's impact on the Dansville Community, and to honor the great role model that she has given us in Mr. Sanderson, the Class of 2022 is making a donation of $1000 to Stony Brook Pediatrics to support their Reach Out and Read Program."
